Enter the length (in), the width (in), and the epoxy depth (in) into the Epoxy Volume Calculator. The calculator will evaluate and display the Epoxy Volume.

Epoxy Volume Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the Epoxy Volume.

EV = L * W * ED
  • Where EV is the Epoxy Volume (in^3)
  • L is the length (in)
  • W is the width (in)
  • ED is the epoxy depth (in)

How to Calculate Epoxy Volume?

The following example problems outline how to calculate Epoxy Volume.

Example Problem #1

  1. First, determine the length (in).
    1. The length (in) is given as 10.
  2. Next, determine the width (in).
    1. The width (in) is calculated as: 20.
  3. Next, determine the epoxy depth (in).
    1. The epoxy depth (in) is found to be: .375.
  4. Finally, calculate the Epoxy Volume using the formula above:

EV = L * W * ED

Inserting the values from above yields:

EV = 10 * 20 * .375 = 75 (in^3)

Example Problem #2

The variables needed for this problem are provided below:

length (in) = 70

width (in) = 80

epoxy depth (in) = .5

Entering these values and solving gives:

EV = 70 * 80 * .5 = 2800 (in^3)
