Enter the total fundraising earned ($) and the total fundraiser costs ($) into the calculator to determine the Fundraising Profit.

Fundraising Profit Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the Fundraising Profit.

FP = TE – TC

  • Where FP is the Fundraising Profit ($)
  • TE is the total fundraising earned ($)
  • TC is the total fundraiser costs ($)

How to Calculate Fundraising Profit?

The following example problems outline how to calculate Fundraising Profit.

Example Problem #1:

  1. First, determine the total fundraising earned ($). In this example, the total fundraising earned ($) is given as 10000.
  2. Next, determine the total fundraiser costs ($). For this problem, the total fundraiser costs ($) is given as 3000.
  3. Finally, calculate the Fundraising Profit using the equation above:

FP = TE – TC

The values given above are inserted into the equation below:

FP = 10000 – 3000 = 7000 ($)

Example Problem #2:

The variables needed for this problem are provided below:

total fundraising earned ($) = 15000

total fundraiser costs ($) = 5000

Entering these values and solving gives:

FP = 15000 – 5000 = 10000 ($)
