  1. First, determine the wall width (ft).
    • The wall width (ft) is given as: 10.
  2. Next, determine the wall height (ft).
    • The wall height (ft) is provided as: 8.
  3. Finally, calculate the Painting Area using the equation above: 

PA = WW * WH

The values provided above are inserted into the equation below and computed.

PA = 10 * 8 = 80 (ft^2)
