Enter the material cost ($) and the labor cost ($) into the Signage Price Calculator. The calculator will evaluate and display the Signage Price.

Signage Price Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the Signage Price.

SP = MC * 2 + LC
  • Where SP is the Signage Price ($)
  • MC is the material cost ($)
  • LC is the labor cost ($)

To calculate the signage price, multiply the material cost by 2, then add the labor cost.

How to Calculate Signage Price?

The following example problems outline how to calculate Signage Price.

Example Problem #1:

  1. First, determine the material cost ($).
    1. The material cost ($) is given as: 50.
  2. Next, determine the labor cost ($).
    1. The labor cost ($) is provided as: 20.
  3. Finally, calculate the Signage Price using the equation above:

SP = MC * 2 + LC

The values given above are inserted into the equation below:

SP = 50 * 2 + 20 = 120.00 ($)

Example Problem #2:

For this problem, the variables needed are provided below:

material cost ($) = 60

labor cost ($) = 70

This example problem is a test of your knowledge on the subject. Use the calculator above to check your answer.

SP = MC * 2 + LC = ?
