  3. Next, determine the resistivity. 
    • The resistivity is found to be: 4.
  4. Finally, calculate the Wire Distance using the formula above: 

Dwire = A * R / p 

The values given above are inserted into the equation below and the solution is calculated:

Dwire = 2.5 * 6 / 4  = 3.75 (cm)
