Asvab Score To Iq Formula
The following formula is used to estimate IQ from an ASVAB score.
IQ = 1.5 * ASVAB_{SS} + 25Variables:
- IQ is the estimated Intelligence Quotient
- ASVAB is the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery score
To calculate the estimated IQ, multiply the ASVAB score by 1.5, then add 25 to the result. This formula is a rough estimation and should not be used as a definitive measure of intelligence. It is based on the assumption that a minimum ASVAB score (around 31) roughly equates to an average IQ score (around 100), and that each point increase in ASVAB score corresponds to a 2 point increase in IQ.
