Reading Time Formula
The following formula is used to calculate the estimated reading time.
RT = W / (RS * 60)
Variables:
- RT is the estimated reading time (hours)
- W is the total number of words in the content
- RS is the reading speed (words per minute)
To calculate the estimated reading time, divide the total number of words in the content by the product of the reading speed and 60 (to convert minutes to hours). This will give you the estimated time it will take to read the content, in hours.
