The basic version of the calculator uses body weight, hours worked, and shift pace.
C = BW \times H \times F
Variables:
- C is calories burned
- BW is body weight in pounds
- H is hours worked
- F is the shift factor
Use F = 1.15 for a slow shift, F = 1.30 for a typical shift, and F = 1.50 for a fast shift. Advanced mode adds a carrying factor and a mileage adjustment.
