Enter the Grade Point Average, Coding Skills Score, and relevant Experience into the calculator to determine the Code Admission Index.

Code Admission Index Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the Code Admission Index.

CAI = (GPA * 0.5) + (CSC * 0.3) + (EXP * 0.2)

Variables:

  • CAI is the Code Admission Index
  • GPA is the Grade Point Average (on a scale of 0 to 4.0)
  • CSC is the Coding Skills Score (on a scale of 0 to 100)
  • EXP is the relevant Experience in years

To calculate the Code Admission Index, multiply the Grade Point Average by 0.5, the Coding Skills Score by 0.3, and the relevant Experience by 0.2. Add all these results together to get the Code Admission Index.

How to Calculate Code Admission Index?

The following steps outline how to calculate the Code Admission Index (CAI).

  1. First, determine the Grade Point Average (GPA) on a scale of 0 to 4.0.
  2. Next, determine the Coding Skills Score (CSC) on a scale of 0 to 100.
  3. Next, determine the Relevant Experience (EXP) in years.
  4. Using the formula CAI = (GPA * 0.5) + (CSC * 0.3) + (EXP * 0.2), calculate the Code Admission Index.
  5. After inserting the variables and calculating the result, check your answer with the calculator above.
