The following formula is used to calculate the Gematria value of a text. 

G = ∑(value of each letter)

Variables:

  • G is the Gematria value of the text
  • The value of each letter is the position in the English alphabet (A=1, B=2, ..., Z=26)

To calculate the Gematria value, sum the values of each letter in the text. Non-alphabetic characters are ignored.
