Weighted Feed Formula
The following formula is used to calculate the total feed required for a group of animals based on their individual weights.
TF = Σ (Wi * Fi)
Variables:
- TF is the total feed required (kg)
- Wi is the weight of the i-th animal (kg)
- Fi is the feed intake per kg of body weight for the i-th animal (kg/kg)
To calculate the total feed required, multiply the weight of each animal by its feed intake per kg of body weight. Sum up these products for all animals in the group. This will give the total feed required for the group of animals.
