Enter the total bar revenue ($) and the bar costs ($) into the calculator to determine the Bar Profit.

Bar Profit Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the Bar Profit.

BP = BR - BC
  • Where BP is the Bar Profit ($)
  • BR is the total bar revenue ($)
  • BC is the bar costs ($)

How to Calculate Bar Profit?

The following example problems outline how to calculate Bar Profit.

Example Problem #1:

  1. First, determine the total bar revenue ($). In this example, the total bar revenue ($) is given as 125.
  2. Next, determine the bar costs ($). For this problem, the bar costs ($) is given as 23.
  3. Finally, calculate the Bar Profit using the equation above:

BP = BR – BC

The values given above are inserted into the equation below:

BP = 125 – 23 = 102.00 ($)

Example Problem #2:

The variables needed for this problem are provided below:

total bar revenue ($) = 5419

bar costs ($) = 300

Entering these values and solving gives:

BP = 5419 – 300 = 5119 ($)
