A 150 lb student who walks between classes for 20 minutes (3.5 MET) burns about 83.3 calories.

150 lb = 68.0 kg

Calories = 3.5 ร— 3.5 ร— 68.0 รท 200 ร— 20 = 83.3

If that same student also sits in class for 300 minutes (1.5 MET) and has 30 minutes of moderate PE (5.0 MET), the total for those activities is about 797.8 calories.
