The following formula proportionally rescales a DGPA on a 10-point scale. It does not establish official equivalence between grading systems.

GPAtarget = (DGPA) / (10) × GPAₘₐₓ

Variables:

  • GPAtarget is the converted GPA on the selected scale
  • DGPA is the Degree Grade Point Average on a 10-point scale
  • GPAmax is the maximum value of the target GPA scale

To calculate the GPA, divide the DGPA by 10 and then multiply the result by the maximum value of the target GPA scale. If the target scale is 10.0, the DGPA and GPA are numerically the same.
