Head Percentile Formula

The following formula is used to calculate the head percentile.

HP = (H / TH) * 100

Variables:

• HP is the head percentile (%)
• H is the head circumference of the child (cm)
• TH is the total head circumference of the reference population (cm)

To calculate the head percentile, divide the head circumference of the child by the total head circumference of the reference population. Multiply the result by 100 to get the head percentile.
