Reach advantage is the signed difference between like-for-like reach measurements. In the expanded mode, the calculator also subtracts height from reach and divides reach by height for each fighter.

Worked Example
A fighter with a 76 in reach compared with a 74 in opponent reach has a 2 in reach advantage. If the first fighter is 72 in tall, their ape index is +4 in.
