COD Points Formula
The calculator runs one of three formulas depending on which tab you use.
Cost = PackPrice * (1 + Tax/100)
MaxCP = max CP combo where sum(PackPrice) <= Budget / (1 + Tax/100)
PointValue = CP * (PackPrice / PackCP)
- PackPrice — USD price of a single in-store COD Points pack
- PackCP — COD Points included in that pack
- Tax — sales tax percentage applied at checkout
- Budget — total USD you plan to spend, tax included
- CP — COD Points balance or amount needed
The "Need points" and "Have budget" modes solve a bounded knapsack across the seven standard packs, choosing the combination with the lowest cost (or highest CP) and the fewest transactions to break ties. The "Point value" mode is a simple per-pack rate. Prices reflect the U.S. in-game store and do not include third-party reseller discounts, bundle promotions, or Battle Pass CP returns.

Worked Examples
Buying a 2,400 CP bundle: The 2,400 CP pack costs $19.99 directly. With 7% sales tax, that becomes $21.39. No leftover CP.
Hitting 3,500 CP exactly: The cheapest combination is 2,400 CP + 1,100 CP, totaling $29.98 for 3,500 CP exactly. A single 5,000 CP pack costs $39.99 and gives you 1,500 unused CP.
$50 budget, no tax: The optimal buy is one 5,000 CP pack at $39.99 plus one 1,100 CP pack at $9.99, totaling $49.98 for 6,100 CP. The remaining 2 cents cannot buy anything.
Are leftover CP worth anything? Only inside the game. CP cannot be refunded for cash, transferred between accounts, or carried to a different platform's account in most cases.
Why does the calculator sometimes suggest extra CP? Packs are fixed sizes. If you need 2,500 CP, no pack hits that number, so the cheapest valid option overshoots.
