Cost Per Unit Botox Formula
The calculator uses the relationship between total cost, number of BOTOX Units received, and cost per unit. Enter any two values to calculate the missing value.

- TC = total cost, in dollars
- U = number of BOTOX Units received
To calculate total cost, the formula is rearranged:
To calculate the number of units received, the formula is rearranged:
- Cost per unit: divide the total price paid by the number of units received.
- Total cost: multiply the number of units by the price per unit.
- Units received: divide the total cost by the cost per unit.

FAQ
How do you calculate cost per unit for Botox?
Divide the total amount paid by the number of BOTOX Units received. For example, if the total cost is $360 and you received 30 units, the cost per unit is $360 divided by 30, or $12 per unit.
Is the cost per unit the same as the total appointment cost?
No. The cost per unit is the price for one unit of Botox. The total appointment cost is the cost per unit multiplied by the number of units, plus any extra fees if the provider charges them separately.
Why might the calculated cost per unit be different from the advertised price?
The advertised price may not include consultation fees, minimum treatment charges, discounts, taxes where applicable, or other add-on costs. To compare providers accurately, use the final amount you actually paid as the total cost.
