Estimate drop-set calories from active time or build a complete drop-load sequence with time-under-tension and workload results.
How the Drop Set Calorie Calculator Works
Controlled drop sets use 3.5 MET and vigorous drop sets use 6.0 MET. Builder mode derives time under tension from the complete repetition sequence.
Formula: gross kcal = selected MET x 3.5 x body weight in kg / 200 x time under tension
What the Results Show
The primary result is the gross calorie estimate or the time required for a target. Supporting results show calories above rest, calorie rate, the selected activity value, and substituted calculation steps.
Calculator-Specific Detail
The builder applies each percentage reduction geometrically, then reports the load sequence, total repetitions, total volume, average load, and final load.
Assumptions and Limitations
Training load supports workload analysis only. It does not feed an unsupported universal calorie-per-load coefficient. MET estimates describe typical energy cost for groups, so an individual’s result can vary with technique, conditioning, rest behavior, and equipment.
