Interpreting the Result
Compare results only when the underlying definition, competition, player or team scope, and reporting period are consistent. Reverse-solved counts are mathematical estimates that may be fractional. A published rounded percentage does not necessarily identify the actual whole-number count; rounding the estimate alone does not verify a real stat line.
Assumptions and Limitations
Use the data provider’s official shots-on-target and save definitions. The rate does not adjust for shot quality, penalties, own goals, defensive pressure, or goalkeeper actions before the shot.
