Interpreting the Result
Keep matches, sets, and games separate and use one consistent player/team and sample. Inverse counts are estimates and may be fractional; a rounded published rate may not recover an official whole-number record.
Assumptions and Limitations
Match, set, and game win percentages answer different questions. The calculator does not adjust for opponent, surface, format, or retirement rules. Zero wins and zero losses give no observed rate. Inverse endpoint rates of 0% and 100% can imply a unique zero count, multiple possible counts, or no valid finite record, depending on the known count; the result identifies that case. Entered counts are whole numbers from 0 to 1,000,000, and finite inverse estimates may exceed that input limit.
