First, determine the total number of balls faced. In this example, over the previous season, the player faced 500 balls.

Next, determine how many times the player scored in the same period. In this case, the number of times the player scored is 50.

Finally, calculate the strike rate using the formula above:

SR = 50 / 500 * 100
