A lacrosse point is credited for a goal or an assist, so points per game equals goals plus assists divided by games played.

Interpreting the Result
Compare results only when scope, competition, period and statistics definition are consistent. Inverse results treat the entered rate as exact. Fractional answers are algebraic estimates, not recorded totals or game counts; rounded source rates may fit several counts. Negative scoring totals are impossible, and zero points with a zero rate do not determine games played.
Assumptions and Limitations
Keep goals, assists, and games within one player and reporting period. The calculator does not distinguish primary and secondary assists or determine official scoring credit.
