Interpreting the Result
Compare results only when scope, competition, period and statistics definition are consistent. Inverse results use the entered rate as exact; a fractional answer is an algebraic estimate, not a possible recorded count. Rounded reported percentages may fit several different stat lines. Empty samples have no defined percentage, and endpoint inverse cases may be impossible or nonunique.
Assumptions and Limitations
Use all official shots from one statistics provider and reporting sample. Goals divided by shots on goal is a different statistic. Reverse-solved counts treat the entered percentage as exact; rounded source rates may fit multiple counts.
