Estimate calories burned during Piloxing from your body weight, workout duration, and session style, with weight entered in pounds or kilograms.

Basic uses a standard class pace. Advanced lets you choose your session style.

Piloxing Calories Burned Formula

The calculator uses a simple body-weight and time formula.

C = BW × D × F
  • C = calories burned
  • BW = body weight
  • D = workout duration in minutes
  • F = Piloxing factor
  • Standard class factor: 0.060 for pounds or 0.131 for kilograms
  • Light / technique class factor: 0.048 for pounds or 0.105 for kilograms
  • Hard / power class factor: 0.071 for pounds or 0.158 for kilograms

What is Piloxing?

Piloxing blends boxing combinations, standing Pilates-style balance work, squats, lunges, and dance-based transitions. Classes usually keep you moving continuously, which makes it a strong calorie-burning workout in 30-, 45-, and 60-minute sessions.

Typical Piloxing Calorie Burn

For a standard 30-minute class, calorie burn is roughly:

  • 120 lb: about 214 calories
  • 150 lb: about 268 calories
  • 180 lb: about 322 calories
  • 200 lb: about 357 calories

Longer classes scale up quickly. A 45-minute class burns about 50% more than a 30-minute class at the same pace.

How to Calculate Calories Burned from Piloxing

Example: a 150 lb person doing a 30-minute standard Piloxing class.

C = 150 × 30 × 0.060 = 270

That workout burns about 270 calories. In Advanced mode, choosing a harder class raises the total for the same 30 minutes.
