Snowboard Length and Width Chart Method
The calculator selects the nearest supported K2 height row, choosing the lower row at an exact tie, and uses canonical kilogram weight bands. The range midpoint and a 3 cm style shift are calculator conventions for comparison, not a uniquely prescribed board size.
How the Calculation Works
Height, weight and foot length are converted to metric units. Weight bands are below 59 kg, 59–82 kg inclusive, and above 82 kg. The publisher’s 130/180 lb labels are rounded equivalents; exact pound conversion precedes the metric lookup.

Worked Example
A 173 cm, 70 kg all-mountain rider with a 25.5 cm measured foot maps to a 154–160 cm chart range and a 245–255 mm starting waist-width band. The length midpoint is 157 cm and all-mountain adds no style adjustment.

Interpreting the Result
A target length is useful for comparing conventional boards, but volume-shifted shapes, effective edge, taper, stiffness, and intended terrain can produce a different correct size.
Assumptions and Limitations
The published height rows span 152–183 cm. This tool supports weight 30–180 kg and foot length 22.5–34 cm; these are tool support limits, not product limits. Metric lookup values use 12 significant digits to suppress insignificant conversion noise. Shared foot-length endpoints combine adjacent width bands. The guide does not confirm fit for every boot, binding or stance.
