Score current Coast Guard push-ups, plank, and one authorized cardio option using the exact age- and sex-specific tables dated June 16, 2026, with no interpolation.
Current Coast Guard PFT Scope
The Coast Guard Physical Fitness Test uses three events completed on the same day: push-ups in one minute, a plank, and one authorized cardio option. The cardio table includes the 1.5-mile course or treadmill, 2,000-meter row, 500-yard swim, and 450-meter swim.
This page uses the female and male age-group tables in COMDTINST 6100.1 dated June 16, 2026. Official record testing began July 1, 2026. Event values are looked up exactly in five-point steps from 45 through 100.
| Input | Lookup direction | Minimum shown |
|---|---|---|
| Push-ups | More repetitions are better | 45 points |
| Plank | Longer hold is better | 45 points |
| Run, row or swim | Lower time is better | 45 points |
No Interpolation
The calculator awards the highest listed threshold met. It does not invent points between rows. A performance below the 45-point threshold displays zero calculator points and causes the three-event minimum check to fail.
Protocol and Official Recording
The events are performed in the prescribed order with no more than 15 minutes between them. Course measurement, machine setup, stroke or repetition standards, timer procedure and authorized supervision can change whether a raw entry is valid. The Coast Guard's official data system and current instructions control the recorded result.
Safety and Limits
This is not a waiver, exemption, medical-readiness or duty-status decision. Use the current instruction and suitable supervision. Stop testing for concerning symptoms, and seek appropriate medical help. People with symptoms, health conditions or medicines affecting exercise should obtain appropriate clearance before maximal testing.
