FAAB Bid Formula and Method
100 × 15% = 15
Choose the fraction of a budget that you are willing to bid and whether that fraction refers to the original season allocation or the remaining balance. The planner converts that choice to whole budget units and caps it at the balance left after your reserve.

Interpreting the Result
A reserve is a deliberate amount you keep available after the bid, so it cannot exceed the current balance. The same percentage can produce very different bids on the original and remaining bases. The result is an affordability plan; it does not estimate competitor bids or decide a player’s value.
This is a budget planner, not a player valuation or a prediction of the winning bid. League minimums, tie priorities and zero-dollar bid rules are separate.
Assumptions and Common Input Errors
Choose your own percentage and reserve; the tool converts them into an affordable whole-unit bid. Use credited records rather than mixing estimates with final totals. A blank field is not treated as zero; enter zero explicitly when it is a valid observation.
