Fantasy Baseball Points Formula and Method
Fantasy points = Σ(credited statistic × matching point weight)
Select the stat line and scoring preset before entering counts. Each listed statistic is multiplied by its point weight and the contributions are added. Custom mode accepts one signed weight per visible statistic, in the same order; a negative weight deducts points and zero ignores that category.

Interpreting the Result
The points total depends on the league’s scoring contract, not simply the player’s real-world points or runs. The table below lists the exact preset weights. Custom weights replace all listed preset values for the selected line. Bonuses, unlisted categories and categories-league standings require separate rules and are not inferred.
Points-league scoring varies by league and season. This tool excludes unlisted categories, bonuses, categories-league rankings and platform corrections.
Assumptions and Common Input Errors
The result uses the explicitly labeled ESPN points preset. Use credited records rather than mixing estimates with final totals. A blank field is not treated as zero; enter zero explicitly when it is a valid observation.
Saving and Revising a Scenario
